Hadley Paper Goods was founded by artist Jo Waterhouse. Hadley creates unique eco-friendly greeting cards and other paper products and more recently homewares.
Hadley products are designed with love and care and are beautifully printed; the colours are vibrant and the detail exquisite. All Hadley designs start life as an original artwork: a collage, drawing or print. Their wonderful cards, of which Kobi & Teal stock many, are designed to look so good on a shelf or mantelpiece that they’ll be kept up there long after the occasion has passed!
All products are made from recycled or sustainably sourced materials, are 100% recyclable.
Jo come from a long line of artists and has been drawing, painting and creating for as long as she can remember. With a particular fascination with pattern and design Jo was previously an antique dealer in London. The shapes, colours and textures of the pieces she sourced were a constant source of inspiration for her artwork.
When I became a mother in 2016, I wanted a job that fitted flexibly around being present with my children as much as possible. I decided it was time to stop selling beautiful things that other people had made, and start selling beautiful things that I had made! I have a lot of fun in the studio. Sometimes designs are hand-painted or printed from a block, pieces might be snipped out of old books or magazines. I often use antique paper in my collaging, a homage to my early career.
