Jane Sedgwick makes bold, playful wooden jewellery which she hand turns and paints in her studio near the North Norfolk Coast.

Working with geometric forms, repetition and colour, her inspiration comes from a variety of sources especially classic educational toys and nautical imagery.

Sedgwick uses traditional woodworking techniques and manage a small woodland which provides a sustainable supply of sycamore for her work.

She is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and taught in higher education for 13 years before moving to Norfolk in 2010, to manage a small woodland and focus on her own practice.
