Arjan throws functional porcelain for your home in wonderfully vibrant colours.

Arjan's background as an engineer and ethicist echoes throughout his work, that is clear and balanced. His pieces are thrown on the wheel and 'search for the crossline between design and craft'. The result is work that through simplicity of form and austere handling of material communicates honesty with a refined touch.

Arjan uses white porcelain as it lends itself well to pigmentation, and during the making process he is able to sand and polish his work to create a smooth, tactile finish.
