These prints are relief printed on several different layers of paper. the first layer is printed on a smooth opaque paper and following layers are printed on semi transparent Japanese paper allowing the colours to be visible in all the layers.

Alison Bernal works and lives in East London. She studied at Middlesex Polytechnic, Goldsmiths College and Morley College. Printmaking has been a major part of her artistic practice for fifteen years years. She works with etching, lithography, relief, emboss and monoprint techniques.
