Karen Radford
Karen Radford is an artist and teacher based in Whitstable, Kent. After studying Painting at the Royal College of Art in London, Karen later turned to printmaking at the Putney College of Art.
Karen’s new work explores her fascination with colour, texture and pattern in its abstract form. Working in an instinctive and organic way, Karen uses her a library of shapes, colours and images as a point of reference in her preparatory drawings. Nothing is pre-planned in the drawing process it is always spontaneous but her personal collection of papers, textiles and found objects are a constant source of inspiration.
