It was built around 1910 and was one of the largest and most stunning buildings of it’s kind in the region. From the outside and certain parts in the inside, it is typical of an art nouveau building. It had 2 main pools, female and male. It also provided medical and therapeutic services, such as hot tubs, saunas and orthopedic areas. The male pool had a wave machine which produced waves up to 1 metre high. There was also a female sauna area in a moorish style. With it’s magnificent columns and arches, filigree patterns with gold ornaments and decorative wall mosaics there is a grand display of oriental flair from the Arabian Nights. The female pool depicted here has a beautiful grand ceiling and columns with art nouveau curvature. Because of the styles and architecture, the building is listed as the city wish to preserve the entire building.

H 105.5 x W 88 cm (framed)

Edition of 10

["architecture","art","original","photography","sold
"option1":"Default Title","option2":null,"option3":null
["Default Title
["//kobiandteal.co.uk/cdn/shop/products/Badkultur_Gina_Soden_Kobi_and_Teal.jpg?v=1532818534
//kobiandteal.co.uk/cdn/shop/products/Badkultur_Gina_Soden_Kobi_and_Teal.jpg?v=1532818534
Title

These beautiful swimming baths were closed in 2004, as there were problems with the structure, so it made it unsafe.
