The beginning of August saw the inaugural Marina Arts Trail in Portishead Harbour which Portishead Arts organised to generate a creative buzz in town whilst raising funds for future projects.
Frome's Graham Dews, better known by his graffiti tag name Paris, took part by spray painting the 25ft 765 racing yacht, Banshee II. The colourful yacht was moored in Portishead for all to admire, acting as the centrepiece for the trail which was a huge success.
We were fortunate to showcase Paris' work, Universal Magnetic, in our gallery's inaugural exhibition in March and still have a selection of his pieces in the shop and online. Drop in and check them out!
