Inspired by a Chinese pot on an ornate wooden plinth found on display at Corsham Court. From this starting point, Jo has made a series of works examining the relationship between pot \u0026amp; stand, looking at the stand to be of equal importance if not more elaborate. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe works on show in CLAYmakers are from the second series, stripping away the ornament. Later connections have been made with piers at Birnbeck \u0026amp; Brighton, plus the wooden lighthouse on stilts at Burnham on Sea.
