A beautiful stock exchange that has been left abandoned for many years, with the messy parquet floor serving as a beautiful contrast to the ornate architecture. It was originally built in the 1500's, but the complex burnt down in the late 1800's. It was the first building of its type in the whole world, but the Neo-Gothic building now stands derelict, awaiting restoration. To access the site, Gina climbed up scaffolding at street level and got onto the flat roof, then climbed through the windows you can see in the photograph and came down into the main courtyard. Gina describes it as ‘a fantastic adventure’, and has slept here several times as it is very close to other locations.
